FAQS

  • What is your availability?

The studio is open Monday through Friday, early mornings through mid afternoon (no evenings or weekends). Please contact me, via email or phone, to inquire about times if you have limited availability within your own schedule. There is just one of me and open time slots are scarce, I want to ensure I can accommodate you!

  • How do I book a session?

If you are a new client, please email me to inquire about availability and to set up your first appointment.

Current clients- please click here for the scheduler.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

Please notify me 24 hours before the START time of your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule. Failing to do so will result in a loss of session from a package or a single session charge. No exceptions please.

  • What is the expiration date on session packages?

Packages and single sessions expire 6 months from purchase date, with the exception of the New Client Special which expires 45 days from purchase. This is to encourage consistent practice, help with scheduling predictability, and ensure fairness and accountability for both clients and teacher. No refunds will be given.

  • What if I've never done Pilates before?

The benefit of 1-on-1 private instruction is that you don’t need any prior fitness or Pilates experience. The hardest part of trying something new is staying consistent. I help take the guesswork out by scheduling out your sessions, following up, and supporting you every step. We take it at your pace, set goals, and introduce new shapes in your body. I encourage you to be patient with yourself as you start this new journey!

  • Do I need to be flexible to start Pilates?

Most certainly not! Your body is ready to begin regardless of shape, size, or flexibility level. In our sessions we move through exercises that involve strength and flexibility. Gradually you will build more flexibility and mobility through this practice.

  • What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothes. Avoid zippers or anything too loose (no jeans). Sticky socks are required for all lessons (available for purchase in studio).

  • Do you accommodate duet sessions?

The studio only has one reformer, so at this time I do not accommodate duet sessions. Only one person per session.

I was recommended to North End Pilates by a few of my friends who knew I was looking for an instructor that focused on mobility. As a beginner I really wanted 1:1 support for my form as I learn different techniques so that I don't hurt myself or fall into bad habits. Ace has been so helpful with creating personalized routines for my specific needs like my sticky shoulder and tight hips. I just purchased a 5 pack of classes and am so looking forward to the support, accountability and movement in the new year. Thank you Ace!

Expert instruction! A VERY detail-oriented teacher with patience and tailored every movement according to my body. I haven’t worked out in so many years, I would never try a group session, so I searched up and down for 1 on 1 sessions! Finally found my go-to person and place. This review is coming from a 70-year-old woman with 2 hip replacements, little core strength, flexibility and mobility. Ace was patient and pleasant to work with! I am now with her 2xs a week and my body feels so rejuvenated after each session! Dramatic increase with mobility and flexibility and I feel muscles I didn’t know were there! I highly recommend you try Pilates out here with Ace!

Had my first class of Pilates 😅, coming into it I didn’t know what to expect. Definitely one of the best workouts I’ve gotten in a while, I had a chance to see what area/ joints needed improvements and found out my what area are my strongest. It was so much different than lifting weights, I feel like I found something that will really help me find balance and keep me feeling youth. Ace you the best, thanks🙏
